Spa has been increasing common especially among the ladies. In fact, spa refers to water treatment, usually with mineral water for drinking and bathing. It is believe that during the bath, the minerals can penetrate into your body and you can get refreshed!

Spa can be expensive if you go to places like spa resorts of spa centers. But it can also be much cheaper if you do it at home. First you have to do is to spare yourself with around 30 minutes to 1 hour time. Try to make the time completely private to yourself. Do not get disturb by any phone calls or the babies.

If you go to spa resort or spa centre, you will notice that other than the spa or water treatment itself, they will also play some music. You can also do it at home. Play some soothing music during your spa time. For a better result, you may try to choose music which has incorporated with sounds from the natural world like the running water.

Lighting is also important. As people used to be more relaxed or sleep when it is dark, you can use candle to or dim light to establish a peaceful atmosphere. You can choose some aroma candles which give you the dim light meanwhile offer you a soothing smell.

Now it comes to the most important part, the water treatment or the spa itself. In fact, there can be many different methods to create a water treatment, depending on your personal need. For example, if you really want to be relaxed, you can use lavender bath products (e.g. bath cream or bath foam) and immerse yourself into a lavender bath. If you wish to be more nourishing, you can choose products with jojoba oil or you can pour a small bottle of drinking milk into the tub with hot water. If you really like flower smell, you can even drop some flower petals into the hot water. Rose petals should be the most common as it can help increase the secretion of "happy hormone".

Scrubbing and message are essential parts that you should not miss out for a good and complete spa treatment. You can scrub and message your body gently with a loofah, a message brush or even bath towel. Such scrubbing and message action not only help you exfoliate your dead skin, it also helps enhance the blood circulation. This really helps recharge your body and mind with power!
